Midnight Owl is a craft brewery and restaurant owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Joel Warger and Rosemary Mudry. Together they have a passion for building community and bringing people together. Located in the heart of Shaker Heights, Midnight Owl aims to be the neighborhood gathering place to meet new friends, gather for celebrations, and hang out with colleagues after work.

Midnight Owl Brewing Company is a neighborhood gathering place for friends and families to enjoy brewed-on-site craft beers and locally focused, hand-crafted food in an upbeat and casual setting. Founded by life-long Clevelanders with experience in the brewing industry and a passion for building community, the brewpub aims to create an inclusive environment for enjoying and learning about beer.
20 Years of Experience
Joel has gained a following after honing his craft for more than 20 years. He produces exciting interpretations of classic styles that attract craft beer enthusiasts as well as approachable beers that make even beer skeptics a fan. Midnight Owl's diverse range of in-house beers balances both classic interpretations of American and European beers styles like IPAs, lagers, stouts, and Belgian style ales with non-traditional ingredients and processes like coffee, fruits, and barrel-aging.

The open-concept, 10-barrel brew house allows patrons to experience the full craft brewery atmosphere, enjoying the sights and sounds of the beers they drink as they are being produced. The customer journey is rounded out by a knowledgeable staff who can describe beer styles and assist customers in selecting a good fit and fun, educational opportunities to learn more about beer.
